Broc W. Brimhall, DMD
I am a dental artist who relies on various cutting edge procedures and techniques to enhance the health, beauty and function of smiles. My expertise in dentistry covers a vast number of dental procedures which includes, wisdom tooth removal, sedation dentistry, dental implant placement and restoration, crowns, bridges, dentures ect. This is a huge advantage for patients to be able to receive all there dental needs under one roof.
To improve our patients’ lives, I have committed myself to staying on the cutting edge in the field of dentistry. This originated with my education that I received at Case Western Reserve University, School of Dentistry in Cleveland, OH, and continues as I am constantly attending training from some of the top names in the dental industry.
I consider myself very lucky to have the ability to work in this field. It allows me to satisfy my passions of working with my hands and interaction with great people. Providing quality dentistry is what I strive to provide but just as important is the overall dental experience. We live by our motto, “Come as a patient, leave as family.”
On a personal note, I am from the hot arid desert of Arizona where I grew up in the town of Mesa. From the years of 1999-2001, I served a mission for my church in the country of Brazil, where I learned the Portuguese language and worked together with the great Brazilian people.
Following the mission and the completion of my education, my family, which consists of my wife Kendra and three great kids Anna, Rex, and Colton took a sharp turn North to Alaska where we have been since 2009.
Our Alaskan experience has been incredible and it is hard to imagine a more beautiful place. I love the outdoors and I spend most my time outside the office hunting, fishing, hiking and camping. I also love staying active by bicycling, working out and playing basketball.
Andrew Newman, DDS
I was raised here in Anchorage, and love the beauty and the people here. I’m excited to be here serving the people that I have grown to love so much. The only thing that has pulled me away from this beautiful state is my Undergraduate education at Brigham Young University in Neuroscience and dental school at University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine.
My wife, Leisl, and twin daughters enjoy everything wonderful that Alaska and its people have to offer. As a family we enjoy hiking, biking, and camping. I also enjoy archery and going to the shooting range.
Besides my girls, nothing makes me happier than helping a patient smile again, get out of pain, and feel confident because their teeth and smile are whole again. I am constantly working to stay on the cutting edge when it comes to Esthetic Dentistry, Oral Surgery, and Restorative Dentistry. I have multiple publications in the field of Oral Surgery.
My friends call me Dr. Andy. Come on in and I’d love to get to know you and your family.
Martha Solis-Nichols RDH, BS
Hello, my name is Martha and I am originally from El Paso, Texas. I attended and graduated from El Paso Community College, The University of Texas at El Paso, and The University of Phoenix. In addition, I worked a number of years specializing in periodontics treatment in Texas. In March of 2003, I relocated to Anchorage Alaska with my husband Terry.
What a beautiful state we live in! The prefect backdrop for my past times, which include photography and road trips with my husband and Portuguese water dog, Sparky. I also enjoy traveling around the country competing with Sparky at national dog shows. Family is extremely important to me, we may be far apart but stay close at heart.
I work to build excellent patient relationships and strive to create a comfortable environment for your hygiene appointment. My goal is to provide excellent dental hygiene therapy skills, specialized for each individual patient’s needs; while working as a team member with Dr. Brimhall to formulate treatment goals. I hope to inspire and educate my patients to move forward for better oral health and well-being.
Jennifer Driggs RDH, AAS
Hi, I’m Jennifer, but most everyone calls me, Jenn. I have had the privilege of being a hygienist at South Anchorage Dental Center since 2012. I am a Minnesota native and earned my Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Saint Cloud Community and Technical College in Saint Cloud, Minnesota. I practiced dental hygiene in Minnesota for two years before my husband, Dan and I decided to move further North to Alaska.
It’s easy for our family of four to call Alaska “home”, because we absolutely love the outdoors. The adventure and unique vastness that makes Alaska special is hard to deny. When I’m not practicing my passion for hygiene and dentistry, you will most definitely find myself and my husband, along with our 2 children and pups enjoying this beautiful state. Hiking, flying, hunting and fishing are definitely at the top of our favorites list.
Just as easy as it is for me to feel at home in Alaska, it is even easier for South Anchorage Dental Center to be my home away from home. I can honestly say that the dental team I work alongside is the best in Anchorage. In my opinion, you will not find a more caring and competent group of individuals anywhere else. We strive to educate our patients and give them the tools to achieve the highest pinnacle in health. I find it truly rewarding to build a long term, trusting relationship with my patients. This in turn gives them the ability to navigate a course of treatment that is successful for themselves and us as their health care providers. I look forward to meeting you and building a lasting relationship for years to come.
Nichole Conti, Office Manager
I was born in a sea side town known as Myrtle Beach, SC, just a little ways away from Anchorage, AK. Growing up in a military family I made numerous cross country excursions from East coast to West coast, and back, but nothing compared to traveling the scenic Alcan Hwy. I’ve been fortunate to call Alaska my home now for over 20 years.
My dental career started when a local dental laboratory took a chance on hiring a young single mother and I immediately fell in love with dentistry. I decided to pursue that passion and graduated from UAA’s dental assistant program in 2005. I was eager to start my new career and put my skills right to work as a Dental Assistant until naturally progressing into the role as a Dental Office Manager. My experience in multiple disciplines provides me with the ability to understand patient care from start to finish. I have always enjoyed every aspect of the dental field and never get tired of being able to help patients achieve their dental care goals.
I spend my personal time with my husband and son enjoying the outdoor lifestyle that Alaska offers. Our winters are spent snowboarding the slopes of Alyeska and our summers are spent at the baseball fields. My son has played little league for many years and is now joining the ranks of the East High School baseball team, GO T-BIRDS! When I’m not playing baseball mom I enjoy leisurely bike rides on the coastal trail and exploring downtown Anchorage.
