Broc W. Brimhall, DMD
I am a dental artist who relies on various cutting edge procedures and techniques to enhance the health, beauty
To improve our patients’ lives, I have committed myself to staying on the cutting edge in the field of dentistry. This originated with my education that I received at Case Western Reserve University, School of Dentistry in Cleveland, OH, and continues as I am constantly attending training from some of the top names in the dental industry.
I consider myself very lucky to have the ability to work in this field. It allows me to satisfy my passions of working with my hands and interaction with great people. Providing quality dentistry is what I strive to provide but just as important is the overall dental experience. We live by our motto, “Come as a patient, leave as family.”
On a personal note, I am from the hot arid desert of Arizona where I grew up in the town of Mesa. From the years of 1999-2001, I served a mission for my church in the country of Brazil, where I learned the Portuguese language and worked together with the great Brazilian people.
Following the mission and the completion of my education, my family, which consists of my wife Kendra and three great kids Anna, Rex, and Colton took a sharp turn North to Alaska where we have been since 2009.
Our Alaskan experience has been incredible and it is hard to imagine a more beautiful place. I love the outdoors and I spend most my time outside the office hunting, fishing, hiking and camping. I also love staying active by bicycling, working out and playing basketball.
Derek Green, DMD
I moved to Alaska and joined the South Anchorage Dental Center team in mid-2018 to partner with Dr. Brimhall in providing our patient families with excellent dental care. My alma mater is Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, where I led a local CAD/CAM dentistry club and received an award for my work in dental implants. I have experience in all forms of dental care but I am passionate about bringing the latest in dental technology to our office.
I was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. A little-known fact about me is that I have been working in dentistry since I was 16! I have wanted to be a dentist since I can remember. In high school, I worked in a dental lab. Upon graduation, I provided chairside assistance in all aspects of dentistry to further my knowledge in providing great dentistry. I am involved in continuing education, having received my IV certification in 2017 and taking a course in advanced dental implants.
My wife Talia and I have two dogs, a Labradoodle named Hazel and a Shih Tzu named Oliver. She is a counselor for children in foster care. We both love it here in Alaska, we love the nature, we love to go out on drives. We also enjoy hiking, fishing, and photography. I am personally very into cycling. In Arizona, I did a lot of bike racing. Here, I am getting into cross-country skiing and fat tire biking. I am loving cross-country skiing!
