Customized Mouthguards and Night Guards in Anchorage

We create custom-designed mouthguards and night guards made of flexible plastic. Using impressions we take in our office, these guards are designed in a professional lab and molded to fit the shape of your teeth. They protect your teeth and other parts of your mouth from damage, and, when made by a dentist, provide better protection against cavities and unwanted jaw movement.

How Our Custom-Fitted Mouthguards Help

Mouthguards typically last three to 10 years and can be worn during day activities or when sleeping. Here are a few of the ways you can use a mouthguard:

  • Sports Protection: Children and adults should always wear a mouthguard during high-impact activities and sports, such as basketball, wrestling, boxing, or football. These appliances protect your teeth, tongue, cheeks, and jaw from damage.
  • Teeth Grinding: Bruxism, or teeth grinding, often happens at night while you’re asleep and can cause significant damage to your teeth. A night guard places a cushioned barrier between your teeth arches, protecting the enamel and absorbing impact.
  • TMJ Treatment: Temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ) can cause headaches, earaches, clicking, and soreness and pain in the jaw and face. Night guards can often provide relief by preventing jaw clenching or repositioning the jaw.
