How Our Same-Day Crown Process Works
Say goodbye to the traditional dental crown process, which includes separate appointments and a temporary crown. With E4D, you’ll leave our office with a beautiful, custom porcelain crown made to perfectly fit your mouth and match the surrounding teeth. Here’s what we’ll do:
- Examine your teeth and make sure you’re a good fit for an E4D restoration
- Take a digital impression using an optical or laser scanner
- Create a virtual, color-matched image using 3D CAD software
- Use CAM technology to mill an all-ceramic crown from a small block of porcelain
- Polish the crown to make it look more natural and fire it in an oven
- Test the crown in your mouth and permanently cement it into place
